Sicilian Stuffed Peppers are colorful bell peppers filled with a tasty mix of bread, tomatoes, capers, and herbs.  Baked to perfection, they make a delicious Italian appetizer or main dish.

Step 1: Soak bread in water for 15 minutes, then crumble it in a bowl.  

Step 2: Cook garlic, herbs, and capers in olive oil, add tomatoes, season, and set aside. 

Step 3: Cut tops, remove seeds, place in baking dish. Brush with oil, sprinkle salt. 

Step 4: Fill with tomato mixture, top with breadcrumbs and oil. Cover, bake at 360°F (180°C) for 40 minutes. 

Step 5: Remove tops, cool to room temperature, then enjoy.
