Try these easy Italian fried peppers—an ideal appetizer for everyday meals. Enjoy them with crusty bread in your al fresco dinner any weeknight! 

Step 1: Wash friggitelli peppers under cold running water. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel.

Step 2: Sauté friggitelli peppers in a generous amount of extra virgin olive oil over medium heat for 5 minutes until they blister on all sides. 

Step 3: Add ¼ cup of water, cover, reduce heat to low, and cook for 8 minutes until soft. 

Step 4: Remove the lid, sauté until liquid evaporates. Cool, transfer to a plate, sprinkle with salt, and serve.
