Step 1: Frying Method Heat 1/2 inch of oil in a medium frying pan over medium heat.
Step 2: Fry a tortilla for about 10 seconds on each side until light golden brown and crispy, flipping one or two more times for even crispiness.
Step 3: Remove the tostada shell from the oil and place it on a plate lined with kitchen paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Step 4: Baking Method Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread tortillas on baking tray, brush with oil.
Step 5: Bake 4-5 mins, flip, bake 3-4 mins until golden. Cool 5 mins on wire rack. Serve with favorite toppings.
