Enjoy creamy Mexican Arroz con Leche, a comforting classic. Serve warm with cinnamon or chilled with caramel or berries for a delightful dessert. 

Ingredients

– 1 cup white rice (read notes) – 7 cups whole milk – ½ cup condensed milk – ¼ cup white sugar – 1 lime (zest) – 1 stick cinnamon – 1 tsp cinnamon powder (+ more to serve)

Step 1: Combine milk, rice, sugar, and cinnamon in a pot, bring to a boil.

Step 2: Reduce heat and cook for 20 minutes, stirring regularly.

Step 3: Adjust consistency with more milk if desired.

Step 4: Turn off heat, add condensed milk, vanilla extract, and lime zest. Serve with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
