Agua de Melón is a delicious and refreshing Mexican beverage perfect for cooling off during the hot summer months.  With just a few simple steps, you can enjoy this flavorful drink in just 10 minutes!

Ingredients

1 ripe cantaloup melon (about 3 pounds) 1/3 cup brown sugar 8 cups water ice (to serve) 2 cans condensed milk - 14 oz each (optional)

Step 1: Remove the rind and seeds of the melon and cut the pulp into chunks.

Step 2: Place the melon chunks in a blender, add sugar and 2 cups of water. Blend for 2 minutes at high.

Step 3: Pour the mixture through a strainer into a large pitcher, then add 6 more cups of water. 

"

For the creamy version: Replace 4 cups of water with the 2 cans of condensed milk and add them to the melon mixture.
