Step 1: Mix harina, salt, and baking powder. Knead with lukewarm water until smooth like play-dough.
Step 2: Roll dough into golf ball size. Press between plastic sheets to make thin tortilla. Add cheese and filling.
Step 3: Fold it in half and press the edges. Peel plastic to reveal raw quesadilla, place it on your hand and remove the plastic.
Step 4: Heat 2-inch oil in a pan. Add quesadillas, fry for 5-6 minutes, flip once. Baste uncooked side with oil to seal and flip.
Step 5: Transfer finished quesadillas to lined plate Serve warm with lettuce, onion, cheese, and cream. Provide salsa on the side for personal preference.
