fresh lemon juice

honey syrup
(1:1 ratio of honey to water)

Instructions
Gently heat equal parts honey and water until they seamlessly combine. Allow it to cool before using.
Pop your glassware in the freezer to chill while you prepare the cocktail.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, pour in the tequila, fresh lemon juice, and honey syrup.
Secure the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
Strain the cocktail into your chilled glass, using a fine mesh strainer to catch any ice shards.
Add a lemon twist for garnish and serve.
