This delicious and refreshing drink is made of peanut candies (Mazapan), evaporated milk, and vanilla. A sweet and cool agua fresca that's ready in 5 minutes and is perfect for hot days.

Mexican mazapanes

evaporated milk

vanilla extract

sugar
For serving

cinnamon powder

Instructions
Unwrap the mazapanes and add them to a blender.
Pour in the evaporated milk, vanilla, and 2 cups of water. Blend until everything looks smooth and creamy and the mazapan is completely dissolved.
Transfer the mixture to a large pitcher and add the rest of the water.
Add the sugar, stir well, and taste. Add a little more if you like it sweeter.
Serve over plenty of ice and finish with a sprinkle of cinnamon if you want that extra touch.
Notes
This agua fresca is best served very cold, right after chilling or freshly mixed over ice.
It keeps well in the fridge for about 2–3 days. Just stir before serving since the mazapan can settle at the bottom.
Taste before adding extra sugar, mazapan is already naturally sweet.
