Step 1: Fill a large stockpot halfway with meat, onion, garlic, bay leaves, and salt. Bring to a boil, covered with water.
Step 2: Once the meat is cooked, let it cool down a little before shredding it.
Step 3: Toss the clean and diced vegetables into a bowl with shredded beef.
Step 4: Add the wet ingredients and seasonings. Mix until well combined.
Step 5: Cut and add the avocado to the bowl. Mix and season to taste. Chill the salad for 15 minutes before serving.
