Step 1: Cook guayabas in 1.5 cups of water with cinnamon and brown sugar.
Step 2: Cool down then blend until pureed. Strain and discard the seeds.
Step 3: Dissolve masa harina in 1 cup water.
Step 4: Heat milk with the guayaba puree and baking soda. Add masa mixture and cook until thick.
