Luego lo met\u00eda al horno hasta que burbujeaba y se le hab\u00eda formado una costrita encima. A mi esposo le encantaba y era uno de sus platillos favoritos de ni\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No me puedo imaginar de ni\u00f1a que uno de mis platos favoritos fueran los hinojos o cualquier otra verdura&#8230;pero bueno, tal vez hubiera sido as\u00ed si tambi\u00e9n hubi\u00e9ramos tenido mozzarella y parmigiano a granel como aqu\u00ed. Los bulbos pueden ser consumidos crudos o cocidos y las semillas se usan en much\u00edsimas recetas para enlazar el sabor de las mismas; desde rectas dulces como los famosos <em>biscotti<\/em> hasta saladas, como las salchichas tradicionales italianas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los frutos (bulbos) cuando son crudos tienen una consistencia crujiente y ligera, como la del apio, una vez cocidos son muy suaves, casi deshaci\u00e9ndose. Ahora, no estamos hablando solo de la tradicional salsa italiana que se usa en tantas recetas sino de algo un poco menos t\u00edpico: Una salsa blanca a la que hemos agregado chalotas y caldo de verduras como extra para darle un sabor especial. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La <em>salsa besciamella<\/em> es la versi\u00f3n italiana de la salsa francesa bechamel, esa que hasta el d\u00eda de hoy se siguen disputando entre pa\u00edses el origen de la misma. Abajo les dejo la lista exacta con peso y todo. Yo he usado 3 bulbos que pesaban sobre los 1.4kg (algo as\u00ed como 3lb). Una vez limpios me dieron el total de peso que les pongo abajo en la lista de ingredientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He usado en esta receta queso Asiago pero tambi\u00e9n se puede usar cualquier queso que se derrita bien como el Gouda, Emmental, Cheddar, Mozzarella, Fontina, etc. Adem\u00e1s de un poco de <em>parmigiano reggiano<\/em> que pueden substituir con cualquier queso de este tipo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">para espolvorear encima<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Para la costra doradita us\u00e9 pan rallado italiano que pueden substituir con cualquier tipo de pan rallado, incluso Panko. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n agregu\u00e9 un poco de nueces picadas que en mi opini\u00f3n le dio un toque deliciosamente crujiente a la costra. Pueden usar tambi\u00e9n avellanas, almendras, nueces pecan \u00a1y hasta pistachos!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La mantequilla ayud\u00f3 a darle ese color doradito a la costra y el parmigiano extra a darle un poco m\u00e1s de sabor. Apenas comience a hervir agregar sal y el hinojo. Dejar cocinando por 10 minutos o hasta que el hinojo est\u00e9 tierno. Escurrir y poner en un plato. Agregar las chalotas y sofre\u00edr hasta que empiecen a verse doradas. Mezclar hasta amalgamar todo. Agregar el caldo de verduras y llevar a hervor ligero. Unir el hinojo y mezclar muy bien para que se cubra por todas partes de la salsa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>hornear<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Calentar el horno a 180\u00b0C (350F).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Poner el hinojo en el molde donde lo hornear\u00e1n y presionarlo ligeramente con una cuchara para que se llene uniformemente. Espolvorear con la mezcla de pan rallado y horner por 25 minutos o hasta que est\u00e9 burbujeante y se haya formado una costra dorada en la superficie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image
