Esta consiste en un tamal preparado con ma\u00edz tierno (elote) y leche cocinado al vapor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El sabor del tamal de elote es suave y su textura tiende a ser cremosa apenas cocido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Normalmente se sirve acompa\u00f1ado de leche fr\u00eda como desayuno, merienda o cena. Ambas son completamente substituibles entre ellas y pueden incluso no ponerlas, cambia solo un poco la textura del tamal.<\/li><li>De las veces que vi preparar tamales de elote en mi familia, nunca vi que pusieran canela o vainilla. Pero si quieren darle un toque arom\u00e1tico a sus tamales; agreguen una pizca de canela en polvo o una cucharadita de extracto de vainilla.<\/li><li>Si van a usar hojas de ma\u00edz secas es necesario hidratarlas en agua tibia por 20 minutos; luego escurrirlas muy bien antes de usarlas.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">los retos de hacer tamales de elote dulces en Italia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Lo que m\u00e1s trabajo me cost\u00f3 fue envolverlos. Las hojas de las mazorcas que consegu\u00ed eran muy peque\u00f1as y se enrollaban bastante. <br>Me fue pr\u00e1cticamente imposible y frustrante usarlas; as\u00ed que prob\u00e9 dos m\u00e9todos: Papel encerado y hojas de ma\u00edz secas (las que se usan para los tamales normales). <br>El primero fue un fracaso. La masa de estos tamales es muy ag\u00fcadita, casi no se puede manejar, lo mejor son las hojas secas. <br>El sabor cambia porque las hojas tiernas dan un sabor diferente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Notas personales<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A decir verdad nunca ser\u00e1n iguales a los de M\u00e9xico simplemente porque el ma\u00edz que se cultiva en el pa\u00eds de la bota (donde vivo) es muy diferente al que encontramos all\u00e1, pero bueno, para un antojo son m\u00e1s que suficientes y quienes como yo son expatriados, dar\u00e1n fe que por cuanto diferente sea la comida mexicana en otro pa\u00eds, la verdad es que para nosotros ese detalle carece de importancia puesto que agradecemos que al menos podemos probar un poquito de esos sabores que tanto a\u00f1oramos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">como hacer tamales de elote dulces<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>La lista de ingredientes la encuentran abajo en la recipe card.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cortar la base y la punta de las mazorcas. No es necesario usar ning\u00fan l\u00edquido, pero h\u00e1ganlo de poco a poco (una media taza a la vez). Poner la masa en un cuenco grande. Cocinar al vapor por aproximadamente entre 80 y 90 minutos a partir de que el agua ha comenzado a hervir. Apenas cocinados los tamales tienen una consistencia suave, pareciera casi cruda.
