Si no encuentran la harina mexicana (nixtamalizada) pueden usar harina para arepas, la m\u00e1s famosa es la de la marca PAN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MANTECA<\/strong>: Yo he utilizado manteca de puerco pero en algunos pa\u00edses no es muy f\u00e1cil de encontrar. Para substituirla pueden usar aceite vegetal, de preferencia uno de sabor neutro como el de canola, girasol, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CHILES<\/strong>: Chiles <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Chile_guajillo\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"guajillo (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"rank-math-link\">guajillo<\/a> y ancho son los requeridos en la receta, pero si no cuentan con ellos pueden substituirlos con media taza de paprika en polvo y media taza de pimiento morr\u00f3n en trozos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ESPECIAS<\/strong>: Si alguna de las especias que les propongo (ajo, pimienta, comino y or\u00e9gano) no es de su preferencia, pueden omitirla o cambiarla por otra especia que prefieran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HOJAS DE MA\u00cdZ<\/strong>: Las hojas de ma\u00edz secas le dan un sabor especial a los tamales de puerco, pero si no las encuentran en donde viven pueden substituirlas con papel encerado para hornear o papel aluminio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" data-pin-nopin=\"nopin\" data-pin-url=\"https:\/\/www.maricruzavalos.com\/es\/tamales-de-puerco\/?tp_image_id=35731\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maricruzavalos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/tamales_de_puerco-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-35731\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.maricruzavalos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/tamales_de_puerco-683x1024.jpg 683w, https:\/\/www.maricruzavalos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/tamales_de_puerco-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.maricruzavalos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/tamales_de_puerco-768x1152.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.maricruzavalos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/tamales_de_puerco.jpg 850w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Receta Tamales Rojos de Puerco<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Para empezar es necesario poner a remojar las hojas de ma\u00edz en un cuenco grande con un poco de agua tibia. Ponerlos en un cuenco y agregar agua caliente suficiente para cubrirlos y dejarlos remojando por al menos 20 minutos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pasado el tiempo de reposo y cuando los chiles estar\u00e1n blandos ponerlos en una licuadora. Agregar el tomate y las especias. Agregar el laurel, el ajo y sal al gusto. Llevar a hervor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dejar cocinar por alrededor de 30 minutos o hasta que la carne est\u00e9 muy tierna. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Poner la carne en un cuenco y desmenuzarla usando dos tenedores. Incorporar la carne, mezclar y cocinar por alrededor de 10 minutos a fuego moderado. Si no cuentan con una olla vaporera para tamales pueden usar una olla normal (grande) y una rejilla para cocinar verduras al vapor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cocer los tamales de puerco por alrededor de una hora y 15 minutos, controlando siempre que haya agua en la olla para crear vapor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"346\" data-pin-url=\"https:\/\/www.maricruzavalos.com\/es\/tamales-de-puerco\/?tp_image_id=35838\" data-pin-nopin=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maricruzavalos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/cooking_tamales-1024x346.jpg\" alt=\"La olla vaporera.
